School yearbook promo poster

Image
This project had the main purpose of spreading the word that my school was having early yearbook sales. I had to come up with a fitting promo poster that followed school guidelines, included the necessary information, and had an eye catching design that made students stop to look. This project taught me to keep the designs simple, I do not always have to pack in what I can. I learned how to make a consistent color scheme and use those colors wisely in the correct areas.

Disney initial Client Project

This project I had to make an Corporate Advertisement Poster to further increase public awareness for the corporation "Disney." I had to make a total of 3 revisions according to my clients desires, all under a deadline. When working on this project, I learned how to make proper revisions and all aspects to the poster even if I did, or did not agree with them. I also learned to work under strict deadlines and improvise and brainstorm quickly.

The Soul J Experience Ticket

This is the ticket portion of the "Soul J Experience" set of designs in the "pick a project assignment. For this portion I had to include the  time, date, venue/location, graphic/logo, name of the band, and ticket number. When completing the ticket, I learned how to keep a consistent color scheme, and make a ticket just as interesting as the poster, or flyer would be.

This is my design for an artist/band, I determined a local venue, and then conceptualized, the design, and layout for a professional concert poster, professional flyer and matching, common-design concert ticket with a unifying theme.  What I learned from this project was how to come up with simple, yet effective designs in a short period of time with certain criteria that was needed in order for the poster to be hypothetically published.
